Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trailer Review

Last week Thursday, Paramount Pictures released the first trailer to the new TMNT movie. However, there are mixed reactions and I must admit that I am still "So-So" about this movie. First, I want to talk about the tone: It does look more darker than all the previous films but then again, this is a Michael Bay produced film. He seems to always aim towards darker films but never seems to nail it. It's like he llures us into the hype (Transformers) and does this intentionally to score some ticket sales but guess what...it works.

I have this one question to ask though, WHY THE HELL IS MEGAN FOX IN THIS FILM? I'm convinced at this point that there must me some moments of serious gratitude from these two (If you know what I mean).  She was fired from the last Transformers movie and she seemed to dislike Michael alot. Out of nowhere, she scores a role that has been cemented in cartoon history as one of the best co-stars to the beloved turtles. Secondly, her acting is HORRIBLE. I'm sure everyone is aware at this point so hopefully, myself and the millions of people can ignore her from the film. What's more hilarious is realizing that she has not one line in this trailer (shows alot of confidence from the director) and I wonder why.

Shredder & The Foot Clan AKA The Call of Duty Characters........................................WTF? Not looking good at all for these characters. I would love to comment more about this mess but I will need serious censorship for all of the profanity that will spill out on this blog. Everything about their origins are different and I'm curious to see how they will somehow try to make it work. GOOD LUCK!!!

The one good thing about the trailer are the Turtles themselves. When I heard that motion capture was being used (Rise of the Planet of the Apes), I was a bit skeptical but they actually look badass. I do understand that for some, it will take some time to get adjusted but it appeared that they wanted to make them look like real mutated turtles. My favorite part of the trailer is when Leonardo drops down in front of April before she bumps into Michaelangelo and Leo looks pissed. What I found interesting was how they captured the essence Michaelangelo's personality. I included the link for the trailer below so ENJOYYYYYYYYYY.

THEATRICAL TEASER TRAILER FOR TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION IS HERE

Yesterday, the new trailer for the fourth installment to the Transformers franchise was released and I must say "this one could be it". After three films, Transformers has made alot of money for Paramont/Dreamworks and it would make sense that they would make a fourth. However, there is a brand new cast (This is not a reboot) with Mark Wahlberg leading the cast. Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci are also in the movie with Nicola Peltz as the female lead.

Before I get into the actual trailer, I was left asking the question as to why Michael Bay would cast a teenager in a film where she plays a teenager but walking around a farm in tiny shorts and heels...WTH is that about. Besides that, the movie appears to have a much more darker/serious feel to it and I hope it does. The last two Transformer movies were horrible and contained some of the most over the top comedy pieces I have ever seen. Who the hell would even attempt to pull out two pistols on an alien robot (Dark of the Moon)?

My favorite of the trailer is of course Optimus doing what he does best...KICK SOME ASS. Check out the trailer below:
